Audio Plays In Reverse On Copy And Convert And In Videowave Edit Program

its a 3 min wmv file and no matter the settings (wide screen 720 1080 video wmv, and mpeg 2 ) it plays the audio in reverse on both computers using windows 7 and 8 and on both programs after converting the wmv raw file to a smaller file....

 

it also plays in reverse when dropping on the timeline in videowave editor.... not even converted yet...

 

yes the raw WMV file plays fine in windows media player and even the roxio movie player!!! now thats messing with my head....

 

i tried to out smart it and do a double convert making a copy of a copy so the audio would reverse back ....but no it still plays in reverse.... any ideas????

Does the reverse video's audio play in reverse and stop early? If so, it is not playing in reverse, it is playing using a wrong codec.

 

What do you mean by wmv raw file? What do you mean by "converting it to a smaller file" Where did you get the raw wmv file?

 

Try using a third party converter to convert the raw file to mpg 2 and then try that.. You can get a free video converter from c/net com Find one with a direct download from the developer rather than selecting the big green download button..
