Saving A Home Movie Dvd With Chapters As A Digital Backup File Like Iso

Larbo

Question

I wasn't sure where to post. I actually have Creator DE, not sure what that is exactly, and am using XP Pro. I have a few DVDS of home made movies that have chapters and when trying to save it as an iso, I get an error that it cannot read a multi-track DVD.

Am I way off base here? I am pretty much a nube. By nephew put the DVDs together from SVHS tapes. Roxio offers a "gi" format but I was hoping to avoid what appears to be a proprietary format, if that is true. Thanks, Larbo

Hello,

Can you tell us which version of Creator DE you have, so that we know its capabilities.

Run the program and go to the Help button > About this software.

You'll get a pop-up which looks something like this one

Please tell us what you see in the two lines: Version, and Build.

Later you say "I get an error that it cannot read a multi-track DVD."

-what program or menu option are you running at that point, and what actions lead up to that error?

Regards,

Brendon
