Question

Hello,

 

The Roxio Hd Pro is hooked up correctly and has worked before. Recently I got a new TV but when I tried to record new stuff I got a red no signal message on the status bar. I looked up some post on here and elsewhere. They all said to do a repair. So I did... Three times but with no results.

 

I'm also not getting any signal to my TV.

RED indicates that your software is installed OK.

 

It also indicates that the RGC Device is not getting a valid signal... (nothing going to your TV confirms this)

 

It is either not hooked up right or your gamebox output is not working properly. THAT is where you need to start looking ;)

I have it hooked up this way... Xbox---> RGC ---> TV.... With HDMI cables.

 

When I take out the RGC, everything works fine.

 

I guess I can try adjusting the xbox system settings.

Another way to prove if your source (Xbox) is set up right ,is to use a DVD/BD player as the source.

I hooked up my other tv (the one that it worked with previously) and I get a signal to my tv but still the red "no signal" appears on the status bar.

Check the settings on your Xbox to make sure your output is not set to Auto Sensing?.
