New Functionality For Toast 10/11

Hi to everybody!

 

I'm the FCPX and Toast user since 2012. For me Toast is the only real alternative for BD preparing (FCPX-very poor scope of menu; Adobe - high cost level). Alternative which unfortunately is not perfect.

 

I wish to work with new Toast which allows me:

- preparing elastic menu

- preparing flexible buttons

- elastic setting of colours

 

Why Roxio can't use logic of menu construction a'la iDVD?

Mayby somebody has any info about further steps by Roxio?

When Roxio first added video DVD authoring to Toast (Toast 5?) they made a decision that the menu should take up as little space as possible. They never changed their mind about this. They did make it possible to add your own background and added a couple text-only styles. They also never added the ability for audio to accompany the menu. There is no new development happening for Toast as far as I know other than separating the different Toast functions as individual apps for to sell on the App Store.
