mimi9
I have transferred many videos from vhs to dvd using easy vhs to dvd 3 plus. Now all of a sudden I am getting "no video signal". I have not changed any settings or hardware. However, I am receiving sound. I have been trouble shooting everything I can think of.i.e. different vcr, different computer, different capture device. Nothing works, Forget talking to someone at Roxio. I have researched their knowledge base, but have not found any help. Any help you can give would be appreciated. Jim_Hardin
Sorry, I thought that meant the problem was solved and I wanted to know what the solution. New at this. That may explain why several folks do that "No Signal" means just what it says! The device is not receiving anything usable from whatever you have it connected to... Please recheck everything from you PC to your playback device and describe what you have setup (devil in the details).
mimi9
Roxio capture device connected to computer via usb from vcr via composite cables. Roxio usb capture device shows in device manager as does usb 2861. The vcr does not have s video connection. However, I did connect to dvd player via above connection with same results. I don't understand why everything was working fine and then lost video signal. I receive sound through this connection, but not video. Jim_Hardin
From all indications the device itself is faulty... That is pretty darn rare, how long have you had it?

Jim_Hardin
Thanks! Before I would give up, I would install the software on another PC and try it there... Since it is just being done for a test, I would get a friend to try it, just cancel the Registration part
