Ps4 Recording Issue?

Question

Hello.

With the new update on the PS4 allowing users to record using their capture devices, I jumped straight into it. But I have ran in a reoccurring issue where in the beginning of the video, it glitches out and doesn't show anything. It is just black (Here is an example:

starting at 1:05). I went into the roxio editing software (which crashes a lot) and edited it in there and it is gone, but I really don't enjoy using that editing software. Is there a way around this or do I have to deal with it?

Any help is appreciated.

Is this possible a 'cut scene'??? Although 1:47 seems pretty long for that

You mention the Editor (VideoWave) crashing a lot. These 2 seem to point to a PC issue OR a Software issue...

Software is easy enough to test out. Do a proper repair - test - try another source.

Short Version: (repair install)

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When you reach the screen where
Repair
is offered, choose that!

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

For another Source, use a DVD or BD Player, camcorder or even the output from another PC.

Let us know how you make out ;)
