bimicher
When I start attempting to record, the video and audio comes through OK, but then it stops and comes up with the error "No Signal" Any ideas on how to correct this? When you get the "No signal" is the capture over a blank spot on the tape? If yes then there is noting you can do about it except move ahead to a "signal" part of the tape. This very common when capturing from VHS tape that have blank spots.
VHStoDVDMogul
I have had this problem. I found the solution. Unfortunately, it is not a pretty one IMO. I was informed by the article I link at the end of the post and advise that you read the article as well. The answer is clearly stated at the very end of this article written by VHS Rescue's CEO. http://vhsrescue.com/vhs-to-dvd-advice/

Ozarker
Jim, No, it begins playing, and gets a few seconds into the video, then it stops, and I get the "No Signal" message. I've read about the words "No Signal" being red and green, but mine is blue. I tried various tapes and all do the same thing. I've tried store bought tapes, personal tape that I'd recorded, and still nothing. They all stop after a few seconds into the video on the tape. Thanks for the details The Red & Green 'No Signal' have to do with a completely different software, not a factor here We want to isolate where the issue is! Another quick test, use a DVD Player or any other good source with Component or S-Video output. See if that will record without stopping. Ozarker???
