Copying Multiple Video Dvds To A Single Dvd

d37s39

Question

I have 4 dvds generated using MyDVD and covering one vacation. Each dvd is about 1 gig.

I want to copy all 4 dvds onto a single dvd for backup purposes.

Using NXT-2, I tried copying to DVD-Video File, but each copy overrides the earlier one

What is the easiest way to copy all 4 on a single DVD?

Thanks.

It all depends on what kind of final DVD you want. Do you want to create just a data DVD where you can play the video on your computer or do you want to create a video DVD that is playable on a DVD player?

Do you want yo combine all 4 videos into one final video or do you want a menu where you could select each of the 4videos separately?

How long in total time are all 4 videos? File size is not that important when creating a video DVD, it is the length in time that matters more. A standard 4.7GB DVD can only hold 60 minutes of best quality video. Any longer and it has to be compressed with a resulting loss of quality.

In any case you should first copy each DVD to your hard drive. You would then add each DVD video in myDVD.

PS. I just read your post again. I see you want to create a backup of the 4 DVDs. I would create a folder on your hard drive (name it Vacation 2014 for example). Then create a subfolder for each DVD ad copy the Video_TS folder into each sub-folder.. You can then copy the root folder to a DVD.
