Render Gets Stuck At 99%

HeyyRisee

Question

My rendering gets stuck at 99%, I've tried almost every render and none works. I have been looking around and I can't find a solution for this problem. I've tried using software instead of hardware, different rendering settings, restarting computer, cut it at the end, tried with multiple videos and none of these worked.

Well I see it this way...

It has to be software and we fixed the software, so what else is left?

I will pass it along, keep an eye for a message in the upper right corner ~ could be a couple of days.

When will this pop up? Like when I open the Roxio ''menu'' or in VideoWave?

Then why does he say I will get a message? To make me wait for 15 days for NOTHING?

I have no clue why they haven't contacted you. Jim was only trying to help you by letting one of the Roxio folks know your problem. He has no control over whether or not someone contacts you.

I wish it were that easy... but phone support was dropped about 2 years ago

You may have more rights in your country or through the EU than we do.

Let us know.

Great, I have no idea where I can find support, there's NO support from my country. So what do I do now? Throw away my Roxio? Yeah sure.

Gotta have a disc for the 3rd step ;)

This is a problem that can be a bit elusive...

I am assuming that the clips are your own captures and not some files you found on the web

Either way, if it is not the file (playing the file means Nothing!) then it is the software and that can only be refreshed by a Repair -_-

Okay I will get my disc tommorow and I will comeback if it worked, and yes I have recorded the files myself.

That is some progress ;)

WHAT is the issue now, the 99% point?

Are these New Captures?

How Long are they?

Within the VideoWave software, have you set Tools - Options - Render to 'Software'? (it defaults to Hardware and can make a big difference)

Yes, the issue is the 99% render problem

Yes, these are new captures and

They're about 10 seconds long since I just wanted to try it out.

Also I have tried putting it to Software and there's no result.

No don't give up...

You have listed TWO different problems ~ one with render the other with capture

These are in no way related!!!

The capture is taking place BEFORE your RGC Device.

The render issue IS your PC or the Software Install.

It might be interesting to try a different software? HERE is a link to one that is free but limited to a 2 minute download. See what that does ;)

So, another update:

I tried reinstalling everything and I got my recording back as normal, now there's no display problems.

Now there's still one problem.. The render problem, I still can't render in VideoWave,

My computer specs is:

CPU - AMD A10 7700K APU with Radeon R7 Graphics 3.40GHz

GPU - Asus Radeon HD 7770 1GB

RAM - 8GB

OS - Windows 8.1 64-bit (6.3, Build 9600)

I still haven't got ANYTHING can I please get some help with my issue? I'm starting to dislike Roxio. Pretty sad that you pay so much for something that doesn't even WORK. Please FIX IT.

Keep talking to Roxio, directly. You aren't doing that by posting in these forums. No one here can help you.

Do a proper Repair!

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When you reach the screen where
Repair
is offered, choose that!

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

Is there anyway in doing this without the disc? I don't have my disc at home at the moment but if it's necessary I will get it.
