I have no EMC software on my laptop at this time. 7.5 used to be on my hard drive but the hard drive was replaced and in the process some program files were damaged. I have completely wiped my drive of any traces of Roxio using roxio zap, windows install cleanup, regcure, Add\remove programs etc. I am running Windows XP sp2. 1.6Mghz 1 g ram.
When I go to install 7.5, it works fine up to a point when it asks me to "please insert disc",
What disc? I have the Program disc and the Content disc, neither of wich suffices because when i insert either of them it gives me the same message.
I have tried installing "complete" tried "typical", tried installing only the programs wich i want, and it always asks me for the disc, and neither one of them work.
I purchased the box so both discs came together and everything should work. cd key, everything is legit. The first time I installed it on my comp a year and a half ago it worked fine.
