Problems With My Roxio Game Capture Hd Pro



So for the last year and a half I have been using my Roxio Game Capture HD PRO with no problem on my old Windows 7 laptop. Recently I just bought a brand new Origin PC and when I did the installation and set up I fired up the Roxio program and it started with only showing a black screen and then would crash and not respond while not allowing me to even close the program it would just sit there idle until I reset my pc.


I've tried uninstalling and re installing and everything else, updated to the newest drivers and everything, tried looking online for more info but figured I would try here before having to possible buy another one, I know everything is still ok because I can use it on my old laptop just to game capture but need it to stream.

Most likely it your settings for your PC...


I you changed ANYTHING from the default settings in your video card, cpu, graphics card software, it can wreck havoc on it!


BUT I would not rule out a corrupted install, so check that stuff first then do a proper repair ;)


First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.


Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.


Now insert your Roxio Disc.


Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)


When you reach the screen where
is offered, choose that!


When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.
