I have Toast 11 and just bought the Blu Ray Plug-in. I burned a blu ray disc and tried playing it on my Samsung blu ray player. The blu ray player looks like it's playing. I get a loading message and the player says "PLAY" and appears to be counting up but on the screen I get the message:
Mode not supported
TV will not support this resolution. Change resolution.
I am using a Lacie BDXL external recorder on my iMac running Maverick OSX Ver. 10.9.3. It has a 2.9 GHz Intel Core i5 and 16GB of RAM.
I created the video in Final Cut and exported it with it's original settings which are - Apple ProRes 4.22, 1920 x 1080, Linear PCM, 16 bit little-endian signed integer, 2 channels, 48,000 Hz. FPS:23.98, Data rate: 113.58Mbits/s
I also tried Quicktime Conversion with these export settings: H.264, 1920 x 1080, Linear PCM, 24 bit little-endian signed integer, 2 channels, 48,000 Hz. Stereo L/R, FPS:23.98, Data rate: 98.59 Mbits/s.
They both gave me the same error.
I've made sure the software on both the Blu Ray player and TV were updated.
Tried to also play on my son's Xbox One and they didn't play there either.
