Creating A Theme

I'm trying to create a new DVD background theme. Now, I know this is the forum for Toast 10, but there isn't one for Toast 7 Titanium, which is what I have. I'm hoping someone has an answer.

 

I've made a copy of a theme and I'm editing it in Photoshop CS6. I want to modify the layer style but it's not accepting all my changes. For example, I can change drop shadow distance & color, but if I add a stroke and save it, when I use that theme and create a disc in Toast, the stroke is not there.

 

Can anyone help me understand why it isn't working?

I never had any success modifying the Toast menus. But here is the guide Roxio prepared for Toast 7. Toast 7 Menu Styles Design Guide copy.pdf

Thank you very much. That document actually helped explain a few things. Apparently Toast simply ignores all but a few of the Photoshop Layer Styles.
