MagicRaf
I purchased this about 2 weeks ago, barely had time to start using it and I been having trouble connecting. The audio works just by but I get a "No video signal" on the video..I reinstalled and disabled the firewall with no success... this sucks... d_deweywright
Like I say if you have a DVD player, you can use that to test with first. It will have a composite (yellow RCA jack) output.
Jim_Hardin
HOW are you connected? (in detail) WHAT is the make and model of Player?
videojake
I had the same problem, then found that my VCR s-video output, which I was using, was for DVD out only. I changed t composite video (yellow) and it works fine.
Jim_Hardin
MagicRaf hasn't been here in 2 months... S-Video does not carry Audio so the Audio has to be connected as well Composite signal carries both.
d_deweywright
First, verify the video signal from whatever device your using (probably a VHS player?) by plugging the composite output into a TV. Are you getting a good signal? Retry on the VHS2DVD capture unit. Replugging things may have helped. Have you tried more than one tape (assuming VHS)? If not, then do that. If not, get a different source to try. DVD players have a composite output jack, try that. If that fixes it and you get a good signal, then the problem is with your original source device. Let us know if any of that helps you narrow down the problem.
MagicRaf
I was watching it from the VHS players first before installing the cd to the computer and it was working. Attempted like 6 vhs tapes (home videos) with no sucess.. my last attempt would to get another vhs player. I will give it atry (if i can find another one.)
