Video Capture With Wiiu

natedogg246

Question

Hey hoping I could get some help with this. I recently got the roxio game capture HD pro and wanted to use it to record games on the WiiU. I can load the software and hook everything up. I turn on the consol and the preview will pop up and has no problems. but when I hit capture the hole thing freezes and I have to restart my computer to unfreeze it. Ive tried this multiple times and it will freeze everytime i hit capture. Any ideas on the problem because im out. Ive tried adjusting the pixels from 720 to 480. The computer that i use is a dell laptop with windows 7. Intel core i3. I believe the video card is a ATI mobility Radeon HD 4330. Its the computer that i do alot of recording on and it doesnt give me any problems. Thanks for your help.

The requirements for a PC are HERE.

What 'pixels' are you adjusting?

The software should not crash the PC, it needs repaired:

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When you reach the screen where
Repair
is offered, choose that!

When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.
