Video Scrambled

Trying to copy my camcorder 8mm videos to DVD. Image in the camera viewfinder is clear as it should be but it is scrambled in the image box on the program when I try to capture it. I am using Windows 8 have upgraded the 2010 Pro with the service pack 2. Any suggestions?

Creator 2010 is not compatible with Windows 8. Sorry. Here is a link to Roxio products which are compatible with Windows 8.
