I bought Vhs to Dvd 3 Plus yerterday at Future Shop.

I tried to install the software on my Acer aspire 5551. The OP is Window 7 family premium 64 (french).

Video card is ATI mobility radeon HD 4250.

I disable my AV and my firewall as well before installing the software.

But as i try using the video converter, i receive a message telling me that the programm need to reboot my computer.

Each time i reboot, the same message keep going on forever.

I would like to know what can i do to make the whole d... thing working.

I have included a picture of what the software keep showing me. It said (in french) : Please wait while Windows configure Roxio easy vhs to dvd.

Also, it looks like i have the wrong path for the shortcut on my desktop.

Thanks for heling me.

Let's try it again but with a more through approach ^_^

This is extensive, but it what I suggest...

(Add Nothing! – Skip Nothing!)

Have your PC set to the same language that your Windows was installed in.

Unplug your Roxio Capture Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Download and install the
Uninstaller. Then run it in
Moderate Mode
to remove any traces of Roxio.

Create a New User Account with Administrator Privileges.

Turn OFF any A/V & Firewall.

Reboot and log on to that new account.

Copy your entire disc to a new folder on your HDD.

In that new folder, right click on Setup.exe and select Properties.

Under the Compatibility tab, make sure
nothing
is checked!

Right click Setup.exe and select Open.

Allow it to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio not Windows)

Use the Default L ocations!

When the Install competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.
