Toast 11 Pro Avchd Movie Creation

Hi, I have footage on my AVCHD camera that I want to burn to disc. With the Toast 11 each time the camera recorded something Toast creates a new slideshow. I don't want this, I want to create a movie of my events and create my own slideshows. I bought the Pro version because it said it can do this using FotoMagic. But FotoMagic does not work with AVCHD. I know I can create a movie with iMovie, but the quality is terrible. I need to merge my various recorded clips and then burn to DVD, without loosing quality. Please help!

I'm confused by your description because Toast does not make slide shows from AVCHD video. But that aside, what you seem to want requires use of a video editing application. There is no reason iMovie would lower the quality of your videos unless you are making standard-definition videos from HD sources.
