The idiot has one more suggestion. Download the free trial of REVO Uninstaller Pro and force install the Roxio Contents that should be listed. Use only the moderate mode. Say yes to all the other items to be uninstalled. Reboot, turn off your antivirus and reinstall the contents.

If that doesn't work, then my idiotic statement above proves correct (again).!

YOu are welcome.

Revo was tried in 2012 back when I used creator version 12 & it did nothing then except cause me to re-install the product too many times & I therefore upgraded to version creator nxt & had problems with that, so I again upgraded to nxt 2 and now having problems with it, so last month I used revo to do precisely what you suggested here & yet now the installs have stopped!! Thanks for nothing!

You are welcome. With that information, I really think the problem is picnic..

Didn't work & there is never any help here! Hard site to use!

Forget it........No hep is forthcoming in here!!

Help

This will not make all ok. Wrong!

Your replies make little to no sense

Maybe better to leave out your editorial comments and stay with the subject and facts ;)

I did get that it is not fixed. Did you actually download and update your MSXML?

If you didn't, Do It! And Reboot.

Then you need to insert your Creator Disc and start to install. Pick Repair when it is offered.

Reboot.

Should all be there now ^_^

Well first let us examine the subjects & facts issue! Yes the problem still exists! Yes, I've downloaded & installed the msxml file three different times & rebooted!

Yes, I did a repair of the software & rebooted! Yes, I've done all this fine tuning to the software & nothing has helped!....Now let us address my sarcastic, editorial comments!

Sure I am frustrated that I spent about a week downloading & following suggestions from someone (you), that appears to only be guessing as to a proper fix!

In my honest opinion I don't think that you really have a clue as to what you talk about concerning certain aspects of Roxio Creator! And now since I've made these

statements, I'm almost certain that no further help Is forthcoming from you nor anyone else in this forum & at this point I really don't care!

Now let us stick to the subject & facts now! Goodbye & Good Luck!

" Goodbye & Good Luck!"

Promise?

If you think it won't't work, you have a predisposition to not making it work so it doesn;t. Nothing we can say or offer will help. Take your computer to a shop and pay them to get it to work.

By the way, others have had that issue and reloading the program (especially the extras) got it to work I'm one of them! An active active antivirus is often the cause.

A predisposition to not making it work so it doesn't. Now how idiotic is that statement??

And for your info, I have once completely uninstalled my antivirus software before also re-installing creator using msconfig to stop everything and also reinstalled using safemode once.

Nothing better happened! I do must admit however that you have me intrigued with these "extras"?? I thought the extras came in the contents which are also on disk??

I'm using nxt2 which is only (1) disk. There is no contents disk!

Not at all idiotic, and you're being needlessly belligerent! In case you failed to realize, the statement suggests that if you have already decided it isn't going to work and you're not going to get help, then your own subsequent behavior is likely to stop it from working and prevent you getting any help.

So far, you've proven the suggestion to be very accurate.

How you react from here will determine if people can be persuaded to overlook your churlishness and help you.

If your NXT 2 is anything like mine there is one disc holding about 2.5 GiB of data, and at install time you can elect to install with or without the 'Content'.
