Photo Pixels And Size In Photosuite

Mallie

Question

I have just upgraded from Roxio 11 to Roxio NXT Pro and Wonder the following problem.

In PhotoSuite - Editing photos - when opening files the canvas reduce my original image size from 5186*3456 pixels to 1275*850 automatically (Canon DSLR), where in my previous Roxio 11 it still retains the same size.

It means that saving edited photos as well as not edited Photos change files to much lesser pixels and quality size, than the original ones. Is it possible to change to the original photo size as default?

I am aware of some "edit canvas" and "saving option" - but!

Kind regards

Thank you for your help.

Dpi 300 is used and a change to professional 600 dpi changes nothing, which is natural in my view. The problem is that when I open the image in Edith Photos the size immedately is reduced to 1275*850 pixels and makes my options for cropping and editing poorer. In Roxio 11 it is still unchanged 5184*3456 pixels.

I have now reinstalled Roxio 11 parallel with Roxio NXT Pro and use the current Edith Photo in this program. I have compared all setting between the two programs and can not find any differences in the setups. I have a feeing there might be a bug.

Sorry to be so THICK!

Yes I do see what you are seeing now!!!

Creator 2011 and 2012 do not do this either but NXT 2 DOES!

I hate to say it, but I really doubt it will be fixed given the current track record we have seen

I will pass it along...

There are many other editors out there, I have been using Corel's PaintShop Pro for many, many years and there are others too ;)
