Red No Signal

autbot

Question

So I have had this product since 2012, and since the start, the software had been the main downside. Random crashes, horrible lag, etc. Corel seems to have left this product to die, which is really a shame since it has a lot of great potential and can be fixed with a simple update. I've been a lot of the Digital Gurus refuse to accept anything is wrong with the software, but it is. Roughly 85% of people probably have everything correct and good specs, it's just the software. I tried an alternate one, and everything was responsive, no crashes, it was amazing!!...but that costs 30$ so until I save up for that, I need to fix this red no signal issue. I've tried repairing, rebooting, going back to a previous system restore, but nothing. All my cables and the box itself are good because it worked with the alternate software, so any help here?

You are going to have to check your system over carefully to make sure all your settings are Default/Standard. (gamers tend to try to tweak things that should be left alone -_-)

There really isn't anything wrong with the software ~ nearly 2 years now and success is more in the 99.9% range!

Try this repair process ~ you may have to run through it up to 3 times

(Add Nothing! - Skip Nothing!)

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Download and install the
Uninstaller. Then run it in
Moderate Mode
to remove any traces of Roxio.

Then turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When the Install competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

:( Still no dice and I can't return since I bought in 2012. Again, the alternative software does work.
