Help Please Easy Cd & Dvd Burning

Okay I just bought Roxio easy CD and DVD burning red box and I am using Windows 8.1 enterprise evaluation I can use the following features Burn Data Disc, Burn Audio CDs, Backup and Restore, Crate Labels-Advenced, Burn Disc Image, Copy Disc? What I cannot use is create DVDs all I can use on it is the labeling the background picture everything what I cannot do is add a movie from my computer and it is a video file. But I have use the dataDisc option for putting my movie files on the disk it works perfectly fine but I want to create menus and everything else from the software for my videos they keep saying file cannot be added it file has not been edited what does that mean can you please help me

It looks to me that you might be using a type of video file that Easy CD & DVD Burning has been prevented from using.

 

Although it is not advertised on the package or the adverts, this software has been deliberately disabled to prevent you using it with some of the most popular formats such as MP4 and others.

 

Here is a list of the formats that MyDVD in this software can still accept. It is very short compared to the list that Creator 2012 handles, due to the deliberate restrictions.

 

 

If you're using a popular type of file that has been removed from this list and your software is therefore not fit for the purpose that you bought it, you should return it immediately for a refund.
